Hallelujah

My heart still aches over the tragedy in Connecticut. Sometimes, actually most times,  I just don't understand what is happening or why there is evil in the world. It keeps me up at nights. Literally.  But even still, my faith is strong and I know that GOD IS GOOD! And love will always triumph in the end.

I understand this thought more than I'd like to. I'm afraid I'm heading into a season of healthy restorative grief. But I know, it's all for the good. So I'll walk the path planned out before me.

This is on my desk. It makes me smile. Especially on hectic planning paperwork days like today.

i don't blog enough.
i want to.
i miss writing about nothingness and somethingness.
work consumes my life.

i need some serious balance.

Today...

i, without a doubt or hesitation, LOVE my  job!!!

is it always easy? no. do i get frustrated sometimes? yes. but overall, sheesh, i really love my job!!!


hope you all feel this way about where  you work. it helps to believe in what you are doing..and in turn have a boss that believes in you!!

Still awake...

And it's a bummer because I really am so very tired. But I don't feel well. I'm going to have to resort to drugs soon.

Will I wake up in time for work?

yeah, it's been awhile. and i believe my last few posts--about 3 months ago--were to the tune of, "yeah, i'll be blogging again soon!" well......folks, i am beyond busy. my heart wants to blog. the desire is there. time, however, is not on my side. so instead of saying, hey i'll be blogging, let's just, how should i say....go with the flow. if it happens, great. if it doesn't, then i won't disappoint myself knowing i'm failing at something. because, after all, a blog isn't about failure. it's about writing, expressing, and conveying life.

oh, if you're curious about the 178 title...let's just say, i haven't been keeping up with my blog reader either. when i just checked in....yep, you may have guessed already....I had 178 unread blogs. sorry friends. so see, i'm not only out of time to blog, i'm also out of time to read.

but life is good. God is good. i'm blessed!!!

Today my Saturday is full of work and filming for some Goal Zero marketing tools. It's fun watching everything happen and come together.

lack of blogging

i really try to blog. i really try. but my life is overwhelmingly busy right now. i hope to be better about it soon. i like writing. i like they bloggy blog world. until i can come up with something to say to you here. this is all you get for now. 

oh...super excited for hawaii. can't wait. so ready. need the vacation. 

i've been busy the last few days. working a trade show in Denver for hunters and fishermen, etc. i've decided that i spent too much time in the boulder valley area because there were a great number of coloradoans that i didn't know existed. i guess i thought ALL of colorado was boulderish. was i mistaken.

back now. hopefully i'll get myself back in to the habit of blogging. i know you've missed me.

Cuh-Ra-Zy!!!!

The craziness of my day and for the upcoming next 2 months is downright, well, not sure the words to use, but it's crazy crazy. But, I like it. I enjoy it. Even in the chaos...I tend to work a bit better in the "must go super fast mode"!! 

Check back in with me in March. See if i'm still standing. In the meantime, send some oxygen masks to keep me going.

Randomness You Find In People's Homes

I've decided to start a new series called, "Randomness you find in people's homes."  I like people. I like random things. I'm a watcher. A noticer. Quite observant. You can learn a lot about people by what's in their homes. Here's my first pic in the series--which inspired the whole series. You may not find it interesting...and that's okay too. I'm going to do it anyway.

Why did I choose this as the 1st pic in the series, and why is it considered random to me? Well, you see, this not a child's room. But rather a room belonging to a married couple. What made them want to use the lamp in their reading nook, that I'm assuming formerly belonged to their child(ren)? Or is this their style? Do they really love pencils that much? Maybe the have an affinity for office type stores? Who knows? I saw it today and said to myself, "hmmm, random!"

So here you go....
